The Lions are 1.5-point underdog for their season opener at Lambeau Field against the Packers.

Week 2 vs. Chicago Bears

Ben Johnson returns to Detroit as head coach of the Bears with Detroit as an early 4.5-point favorite.

Week 3 at Baltimore Ravens

The Lions are getting 3.5 points for their Week 3 Monday night showdown against the Ravens.

Week 4 vs. Cleveland Browns

As expected, this line is very large with the huge gap in talent between these two teams. The Lions are favored by 10.5.

Week 5 at Cincinnati Bengals

Jared Goff versus Joe Burrow should be a fun battle. The Lions have a 1.5-point favored edge at the moment on the road.

Week 6 at Kansas City Chiefs

Unsurprisingly, the Lions are road dogs against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, but not by much, just three points.

Week 7 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Lions only lost two regular-season games in 2024. One of them was in Week 2 against the Buccaneers. The Lions have their chance at revenge on Monday night in Week 7 and are favored by 3.5.

Week 9 vs. Minnesota Vikings

Coming off their bye, the Lions face a Vikings team that pushed them all the way to the final week in the division race last season. Detroit won in Week 18, 31-9. This time, Detroit is favored by 4.5.

Week 10 at Washington Commanders

The Lions get their chance to avenge their playoff loss to the Commanders in Week 10. The early betting outlook is Washington will win the rematch, as Detroit is a 1.5-point underdog.

Week 11 at Philadelphia Eagles

The Lions go from the team that knocked them out of the playoffs to the team that won the Super Bowl. The Lions visit Philadelphia on a Sunday night in Week 11 and are an early 3.5-point underdog.

Week 12 vs. New York Giants

The Lions seemingly get a break following a gauntlet when the Giants come to town in Week 12. Detroit is favored by 8.5.

Week 13 vs. Green Bay Packers

Another year, another Thanksgiving clash between the Lions and Packers. The Packers are favored for Week 1 but the Lions have the early edge for Thanksgiving as a 2.5-point favorite.

Week 14 vs. Dallas Cowboys

The two traditional Thanksgiving hosts meet in Detroit in Week 14. The Cowboys will be coming off a date with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs on Thanksgiving. Detroit is favored by six.

Week 15 at Los Angeles Rams

Last season, the Lions opened the season with a Sunday night win against the Rams at home. This year, the Lions take a late-season trip to Los Angeles on America’s Game of the Week on Fox. Jared Goff and the Lions are favored by 1.5.

Week 16 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The thought remains the Steelers are still in position to land quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Even if they do, it may not change the current line of Lions -6 too much.

Week 17 at Minnesota Vikings

The Lions get some Christmas cheer this season as they’ll spend the holidays in Minnesota against the Vikings. Detroit is currently favored by 2.5.

Week 18 at Chicago Bears

The rematch with Ben Johnson and the Bears comes in the final week of the season. The Lions are hoping to at least be in contention for the No. 1 seed, if not have it locked up by this point. For now, Detroit is favored by 1.5.

Final tally

The Lions are favored in 12 games and underdogs in five.
