In case you missed it, pop star Janet Jackson made an appearance in Detroit this past weekend, at the annual gathering of the Nation of Islam and at the New Edition, Boyz II Men and Toni Braxton concert.
Multiple posts on social media show the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artist at the show, which took place at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Friday, Feb. 20.
Additionally, FOX 2 anchor Jay Towers posted a photo on X, confirming the reports.
Jackson also appeared to attend the Nation of Islam Saviours’ Day, inside Huntington Center in downtown Detroit on Feb. 22, according to a post on Facebook by a member of the Nation.
A video of a plenary at the convention also showed a woman who appeared to be Jackson listening in the audience.
In posts on X Saturday, Jackson was wearing clothes similar to what’s worn by women at Nation of Islam gatherings.
Jackson, an American recording artist and actor, was born in Gary, Indiana, and is the youngest child of the Jackson family of musicians.
She has sold over 100 million records worldwide and is one of the best-selling artists in the history of contemporary music, according to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
