There’s a No. 1 in Division 3 in the Michigan High School Hockey Coaches Association’s state rankings.
Making their way into the No. 1 spot in D3 was Upper Peninsula powerhouse Houghton, while Cranbrook dropped a spot to No. 2.
There was no movement in the top five for D1 as Howell stayed at No. 1, followed by Detroit Catholic Central, Hartland, Utica Eisenhower and Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central.
In D2, Flint Powers Catholic remained No. 1, while Grandville, Livonia Stevenson, Byron Center and Rochester United rounded out the top five.
Joining Houghton and Cranbrook in the D3 top five were Orchard Lake St. Mary’s, Calumet and Marquette.
