Krusell and Harrington allegedly stole Hatcher’s backpack in the late afternoon May 28 in Livonia, according to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office. When a verbal altercation between the three of them escalated, Krusell allegedly stabbed Hatcher in the chest and fled the scene.

Police were sent just before 5 p.m. May 28 to the area of Middlebelt and Orangelawn in Livonia for reports of an unresponsive person, according to prosecutors. Hatcher was pronounced dead on the scene.

Neither Krusell or Harrington had an attorney listed in court records Monday. They are set to be arraigned Monday early afternoon.
