The Lexington Arts Council’s Friday Music in the Park series continues June 27 with an evening of award-winning country music by Devin Scillian & Arizona Son.
The group, which won the Detroit Music Award for Best Country Performer, has been entertaining crowds for more than a decade with a mix of traditional country, bluegrass and southern rock. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and umbrellas, as the show will go on rain or shine. Refreshments will be available and guests are also welcome to stop by any of Lexington’s local food vendors beforehand.
Free shuttle service will be offered from several parking areas throughout the village, including:
Shuttles will run continuously before and after the performance.
The concert is sponsored by Thumb Bank & Trust. The Lexington Arts Council receives support from the Michigan Arts and Culture Council, Sanilac County Community Foundation, Community Foundation of St. Clair County, the Village of Lexington DDA and many local businesses and arts patrons.
