Is it ever too early to start thinking about football season?
We didn’t think so either.
So, why not take a dive into what the fall looks like ahead, at least just a glance for now.
Below you’ll find all of the football schedules for Emmet and Charlevoix county teams, along with Inland Lakes.
The season will kick off on Thursday, Aug. 28 for some and others on Friday, Aug. 29, with all teams playing through Friday, Oct. 24.
Coming off one of the best seasons in program history, Petoskey will have just four home games in 2025, with the home opener not coming until Sept. 12.
Boyne City had another big run to the semifinals a season ago and will challenge themselves with a Big North Conference team to open the season (Alpena), while also adding Traverse City St. Francis as a non-league opponent. Added with Cheboygan, Kingsley and Charlevoix, it’s a tough schedule for what should be another talented Rambler team.
East Jordan fans will be happy to hear that their Red Devils will have six home games in 2025, with three separate back to back home weeks.
Breakdowns for each team will follow this summer, but a little planning ahead and first glance early here in July felt needed.
All games are 7 p.m., Friday unless noted.
