“On Monday night, troopers received a tip that Styla was in the city of Lansing near Sparrow Hospital. With the assistance of Lansing Police Officers, Styla was located and turned over to troopers,” Michigan State Police said July 1 on X. “Thanks to the public for their assistance in locating Styla.”

Styla, 14, left her home in Eaton County on June 15 without her medication and remained unaccounted for, Michigan State Police said in a social media message on June 19. She did not have her cellphone with her, they said.

State police on June 30 said Styla’s family was offering a $1,000 reward “for any information leading to her being located and returned.”

They went on to say Styla was believed to be “in the company of males in their 20’s.”

Anyone who had information about her whereabouts was asked to call the operations center at 517-241-8000. They did not have to leave their name, state police said.
