Detroit Lions rookie contract details: WR Kendrick Law

The Detroit Lions have inked all of their 2026 NFL Draft class, including fifth-round pick and wide receiver Kendrick Law to his rookie contract.

The former Kentucky Wildcat star agreed to a four-year, $4.83 million contract, including a fully-guaranteed $450,136 signing bonus. Law’s average annual salary is set at $1.2 million.

In 2026, Law carries a cap hit of $997,534, per Spotrac.

The 5-foot-11, 203-pound wideout reeled in 53 catches for 540 yards with three touchdowns last season, while recording 86 receptions for 883 yards and four touchdowns across his collegiate career at both Alabama and Kentucky.

While the Lions are stacked at the wide receiver position, Law will likely be used as a replacement for Kalif Raymond in the special teams department, where Law has quite an impressive skill set.

During his collegiate career, Law returned 32 kickoffs for 710 yards (22.9 yards on average). Last season, Law’s 23.8 yards-per-kickoff-return average ranked fourth in the SEC.
