The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to search for a missing 15-year-old boy last seen leaving Pennfield High School May 7.
The sheriff department announced Glenn Lee Brown was missing Monday, May 12.

“Last night, deputies responded to several calls from the public offering tips and requesting checks of outbuildings. Unfortunately, none of those searches led to any new information,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release Wednesday.
“As more time passes, we are increasingly concerned, because, while Glenn is known to be resourceful in the outdoors, the length of time he has been missing is pushing the limits of what anyone could realistically endure on their own.”
The department said drone technology has been used in the search and additional efforts are being planned with trained volunteers.
“Many of the areas we still need to search are on private property. While property owners have been cooperative, some have asked that no one enter their land without permission. We’re doing our best to respect these wishes while continuing to search thoroughly,” the statement said.
“If you have any information—or if you may have unknowingly helped Glenn in any way—please contact us immediately. Even the smallest detail could be important.”
The sheriff office is asking landowners carefully check their own property and keep in mind the teen may be intentionally avoiding being seen.
“Your ongoing help and vigilance are greatly appreciated. Anyone with information about Glenn’s whereabouts is urged to contact Lieutenant Benjamin Hess at 269-781-0880 or submit an anonymous tip through Silent Observer at 269-964-3888,” the sheriff’s office said.
Glenn is described as a white male, approximately 5-feet-11-inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes.
