German construction industry sees slight revenue gains in 2025

FRANKFURT (Reuters) -German construction industry revenue is forecast to record a slight increase of up to 1% in 2025 after a decline in 2024, an industry group said on Thursday.

The BVB construction association said it was cautiously optimistic and predicted revenue of 428 billion euros ($488.43 billion) for the year.

In 2024, revenue slumped 3% to 425 billion euros as the country’s property sector grappled with its worst crisis in decades.
