Alliances. Showmances. The first nominations. Tearful diary room sessions.
Welcome to Big Brother 2026!
The first week of “Big Brother” has been full of surprises and it’s now leading up to the first live eviction of “Big Brother” season 28 as Dee Valladares’ Head of Household reign nears an end.
But first …
The first power of veto competition and ceremony will take place during the July 15 episode.
Valladares, one of two “Survivor” alums part of the 17-person BB cast this season, first nominated Mallory Aurichio, Taylor Brown and Yash Patel for eviction. But will they remain on the block?
Here’s what to know about the “Big Brother” schedule this week, including how to watch tonight’s episode, the start time, cast, spoilers and more:
What time is Big Brother tonight?
“Big Brother” airs at 7 p.m. CT on Wednesday, July 15.
Big Brother episode 4
Counting last week’s “Big Brother Unlocked,” July 15 is the fourth episode of the season.
The episode features the fallout from Valladares’ nominations followed by the Power of Veto competition and the POV ceremony.
Oh, and it also looks like Jason is about to try to cross Angela. Watch out.
How long is tonight’s Big Brother episode?
The July 15 episode is 90 minutes.
Excluding the “Big Brother: Unlocked” episode, the first three regular episodes (the premiere on July 9, Sunday’s episode on July 12 and tonight’s episode) were all 1 hour, 30 minutes.
Wednesday episodes will always be 90 minutes.
Big Brother show times
“Big Brother” episodes start at 7 p.m. throughout the summer barring any scheduling delays. Sunday episodes often begin later due to sports programming going later.
Big Brother highlights Week 1
The Red Corner alliance formed. It includes Dee, Devens, Haley, Kamu and Chuk:
Devens quickly filled Angela in on the alliance.
Devens, Angela and Dee, the three reality TV icons playing this season, are working together and they added two others into their group to form an alliance called “The Crossovers.”
This puts Dee and Devens, who have each other’s backs, in two alliances with separate multiple houseguests as a way to protect themselves from multiple sides.
The first “Big Brother” showmance of the season is Lyric and Rome.
Showmances are typically part of seasons but starting one on Day 2 is pretty bold.
Do they know this isn’t “Love Island USA”?
There’s no hiding a showmance in the BB house.
Big Brother spoilers 2026
The winner of the POV competition and the results of the POV ceremony have already taken place inside the BB house.
The POV challenge usually occurs on Saturdays and the POV ceremony on Mondays and those who follow live feeds learn of these results well before the edited TV episode airs.
Mallory won the first golden power of veto of the season. She then used it to take herself off the block.
As a result, Head of Household Dee had to nominate another person for eviction in her place. She nominated Ashley Trail.
The 24-year-old Chicago bartender joins Brown and Patel on the block. The three will now compete in the first Blockbuster competition of the season during the Thursday, July 16 episode before the live vote takes place.
The winner of the Blockbuster will be removed from the block, leaving two in the nomination chairs for the vote.
Big Brother schedule: When do Big Brother episodes come out?

The “Unlocked” weekly talk show hosted by BB winners Taylor Hale and Derrick Levasseur and actor Jerry O’Connell will air every other Friday throughout the season.
The next “Unlocked” is Friday, July 24.

Big Brother voting
The BB houseguests aren’t the only ones voting this season.
Fans get to vote, too, for a component of the game.
It’s for the new Big Brother Time Capsule competition. Whatever houseguest has most votes will play a game for a chance to win a power. But they could also suffer a punishment. There are six powers and six punishments up for grabs.
A houseguest is only eligible to enter the BB Time Capsule once this season.
The winning houseguest will enter the first Time Capsule on Friday, July 17. Voting takes place on the “Big Brother” webpage of CBS.com at www.cbs.com/shows/big_brother/voter/.
What season of Big Brother are we on?
It’s the 28th season of “Big Brother.” The show debuted in summer 2000 and the reality TV competition show has been a staple every summer. Two seasons aired in 2008.
There have also been spinoff seasons, including three “Celebrity Big Brother” seasons that aired in 2018, 2019 and 2022, “Big Brother Over The Top” in 2016 and a holiday-themed season called “Reindeer Games” in 2023.
Milwaukee attorney Xavier Prather won season 23 in summer 2021, becoming the first Black winner and the first winner to claim a grand prize of $750,000. Previously, winners were awarded $500,000.
Big Brother cast
The “Big Brother” season 28 cast features BB 26 houseguest Angela Murray and “Survivor” alums, Rick Devens and Dee Valladares.
