There are just a few short weeks left of the summer for the Buffalo Bills before they arrive at St. John Fisher for the start of training camp, the final phase of the offseason. The team will look a bit different than the one that last took the field in a playoff loss to the Denver Broncos.
Veterans departed and someone had to replace them between the 2026 NFL Draft, free agency and trade acquisitions.
With all of the moves that were made, here is Bills Wire’s list of the five best acquisitions the Bills made during the 2026 offseason:
5. CB Davison Igbinosun
Igbinosun was one of Buffalo’s second-round picks but his selection came with some questions. Would he be a fit for the Bills’ secondary? While it’s early and just spring practices, Igbinosun does look like he has a chance to push for playing time.
4. Kaleb Elarms-Orr
Elarms-Orr is similar to Igbinosun. He’s a rookie draft pick that is impressing early. Elarms-Orr was a Round 4 selection, though. Because of that value and him already looking like a potential Year 1 starter, Elarms-Orr stands out even more.
3. Austin Corbett
Pro Football Focus graded Corbett the 30th best guard in the NFL in 2025 with a 67.2 overall mark. After losing the likes of David Edwards and Alec Anderson via free agency, Buffalo did a decent job adding a guard with experience in Corbett.
2. Bradley Chubb
The Bills love adding their veteran pass rushers and Chubb is the latest. But Chubb is a seamless fit in the change in defensive scheme Buffalo will make under new coordinator Jim Leonhard. He could hit the ground running.
1. DJ Moore
Expectations are sky high for Moore in 2026. Buffalo needed a big playmaker addition for quarterback Josh Allen and he could very well be that. Moore previously had two 1,000-plus yard seasons when current Bills head coach Joe Brady was his offensive coordinator with the Carolina Panthers. There is reason to believe he could hit the ground running.
