The Indiana Fever won 111-87 on Saturday, June 27 against the Los Angeles Sparks. The Fever played the home game without star point guard Caitlin Clark, who is battling a back injury.
Kelsey Mitchell led the Fever with 26 points. Aliyah Boston had 17.
Nneka Ogwumike led the Sparks with 17 points.
When will Caitlin Clark play again?
The Indiana Fever announced on June 26 that Clark would miss the team’s game against the Los Angeles Sparks.
Fever head coach Stephanie White said during a media availability that there is “no indication” how long the former Iowa women’s basketball star will be out, stressing that her long-term health is the top priority.
“Obviously, it’s a good time because we have all week next week,” White said, referring to the team’s upcoming break in the schedule. “We’ll take this opportunity to get her treatment, get her healthy and back on the floor, and see what happens.”
The Fever’s next game comes on July 5 against the Las Vegas Aces.
Clark left the Fever’s game against the Phoenix Mercury on June 24 with 5:15 remaining in the third quarter with a back issue and did not return. Clark has missed time previously this season due to a back injury. In 2025, she played only 13 games due to a myriad of injuries, including her left quad, left groin, right groin, and ankle.
