The New York State Sportswriters and Coaches’ Organization for Girls Sports finalized and released their annual all-state softball on June 25.
Section 1 saw 30 girls recognized, 29 of which came from Westchester, Putnam and Rockland counties. Only one was from Dutchess County.
Ursuline senior center fielder Ava Papaleo added another piece to her storied resume as she was named the Class AA player of the year.
After leading Pearl River to its first NYSPHSAA Class A state finals appearance since 2009, Pirates coach Chris Woolgar was named the Class A coach of the year.
Here’s a look at the players who earned all-state honors from the Lower Hudson Valley for the 2026 softball season.
