Yes to all of those – and almost all locally made. That’s what visitors to Door County farmers markets can find, and more.

The 2026 summer farmers market season is about to come to Door County, where people can find a market taking place six days a week in eight different communities from Sturgeon Bay to Washington Island. The season starts with two opening the week before Memorial Day, two others during the Memorial Day weekend and the rest between then and the middle of June. As with any farmers market, remember that some produce items and plants may not be available or in peak condition throughout the entire season, depending on the prime growing season for those items.

Here’s what you need to know about the eight farmers markets taking place in Door County in the summer of 2026, based on information gathered from the market websites, news releases and phone calls.

Sundays

Coming off its season of indoor winter farmers markets on select Saturdays inside Town Hall from November through April, the Baileys Harbor Community Association kicks off the summer farmers market season with their outdoor, rain or shine, market on the lawn outside Town Hall.

One slight change, at least to start the 2026 season – the market will take place on the north side lawn of Town Hall, at the corner of Park Road and State 57, until work is completed on the main lawn of the property, where the market usually is held. Signs will be posted to direct visitors.

According to the community association’s website, about three dozen vendors are expected to bring more than 20 different types of products to the Baileys Harbor Farmers Market. Shoppers can find locally grown produce, plants, health and beauty products, locally produced breads, treats and other foods, jewelry, art and clothing. Food trucks will be on hand as well, friendly leashed pets are allowed and the market area is relatively flat and bordered by sidewalks.

For more information, call 920-839-2366 or visit baileysharbor.com/events or facebook.com/BaileysHarbor.

Mondays

The Ephraim Business Council sponsors this Bondemarked (Norwegian for “farmers market” in a nod to the village’s heritage) in the green spaces around one of Door County’s best-known miniature golf courses. Produce, baked goods, candies, body lotions and oils, candles, jewelry, bags, suncatchers, birdhouses and gifts are among the items expected to be available, and Vue’s Kitchen will have egg rolls, crab rangoons and fried rice hot and ready to eat.

Bondemarked also runs in conjunction with the village’s Evenings in Ephraim concert series from 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays at Harborside Park.

Tuesdays

More than 33 vendors plan to be on hand each Tuesday for the 19th year of the Jacksonport Farmers Market, held rain or shine next to the Lake Michigan shoreline in Lakeside Park (6296 Lake Park Drive, Sturgeon Bay, for those using GPS to find it).

A variety of fresh and prepared food items from local producers will be available. On the produce and plant side, expect to find locally grown fruits (not just cherries and apples but berries and apricots too) and vegetables, flowers, bedding, garden plants, microgreens and native perennials, with the exact types varying with their growing seasons.

Other foods that will be for sale include brats, burgers and meats from Door County Custom Meats, fresh baked goods, including the return of sourdough breads, fresh Door County whitefish, cheeses, eggs, and a variety of honeys, syrups, jams and jellies. The Street Brew coffee truck will be on hand with coffee drinks and dirty sodas.

Area artists and craftspeople will showcase a variety of handcrafted Door County gifts, art and items for the home. The Door Community Compost Initiative returns with its display and sale of compost buckets for its community compost program, and several area nonprofit organizations will share a booth, alternating each week to provide information about themselves.

Entertainment during the markets will be provided by local musicians Tom Faella on accordion and Scott Riedasch on guitar, who will perform on alternate weeks.

For more information, visit jacksonport.net or the “Jacksonport Farmer’s Market” Facebook page.

Wednesdays

About 18 to 20 vendors are expected each week outside the shops at Settlement Shops with their supplies of plants, produce, other foods and handmade items, all farmed or created locally. Also, the shops surrounding the marketplace will be open. Live music is scheduled for many weeks, and one of the booths will serve Asian food ready to eat for lunch or take home.

To help kick off the market, Settlement Shops also hosts its annual plant sale from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (or until sellout) the Saturday before the season opens, May 23, with plant vendors from across the Peninsula as well as chocolates and birdhouses. Larger green things such as trees and shrubs will be available here that won’t be at the farmers markets.

For more information, call 920-421-2115 or visit settlementshopsfishcreek.com/farmers-market or the “Settlement Farmers Market” Facebook page.

Thursdays

The Egg Harbor Business Association brings back its “Rhythm & Roots Marketplace” for a second year, combining its farmers market with its free summer concerts-in-the-park series (music starts at 5 p.m.) at the Peg Egan Performing Arts Center in Eames Cherry View Park, which offers plenty of parking and accessible restrooms.

For more information, call 920-868-3717 or visit eggharbordoorcounty.org/events or facebook.com/EggHarborDoorCounty.

Fridays

DENN, the distinctive artisan gift store and do-it-yourself arts and crafts shop built from shipping containers on farmland south of Sturgeon Bay, hosts the only farmers market in the Southern Door area.

The outdoor market expects to have a rotating lineup of 15 to 30 local vendors each week bringing fresh produce, sourdoughs and other baked goods, handmade crafts, honeys and syrups, meats and jerky, henna art, specialty foods, jewelry, artisan soaps and more. A food truck and coffee truck will be on hand each week and DENN’s tiki bar will be open.

Along with the shopping, visitors can play occupy themselves with some of DENN’s regular features, such as yard games, hat making or painting, relaxing in a hammock swing and taking in the views of the location’s open farm fields, with the occasional chicken or barn cat roaming the property, and the barnside mural visible from State 57. Children can use the playground and bounce house and take a pony ride.

Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome in outdoor areas of the property but not permitted inside the building for health and safety reasons. Smoking and vaping are not allowed. For more information, call 920-559-7631 or visit dennshop.com (click on the “Farmer’s Market” tab at the top of the homepage) or the “Southern Door Farmer’s Market” Facebook page.

Saturdays

Sponsored by Destination Sturgeon Bay, the Sturgeon Bay Farmers Market brings about 80 vendors downtown to South Third Avenue between Michigan and Nebraska streets. Parking is available in the lot behind the buildings on the east side of South Third, and there are several municipal lots and street parking within reasonable walking distance.

The market offers a wide variety of goods grown or made locally or in the region: plants and flowers, produce, baked goods, meats, specialty foods, clothing and accessories, home accessories, fine art and yard art. Several vendors accept FoodShare tokens.

A variety of bands and musicians will provide live music from the corner of Third and Nebraska, and shoppers also can take part in a yoga session led by staff from The Yoga Womb at 9 a.m. each week at Graham Park (donations accepted).

For more information including a list of vendors, visit sturgeonbayfarmersmarket.net.

Sponsored by the Sister Bay Historical Society at its museum, the weekly Open Aire Market has local farmers and vendors provide locally grown fresh farm products, baked goods and locally made art, books and crafts. The Oct. 3 market, the last of the season, will be a vintage Christmas market with old-time holiday item and local art, crafts and books joining the regular vendors.

The historical society also will give Heritage Program activities and demonstrations in the Koessl Barn during markets from mid-July through Labor Day, and local musicians will perform.

For more information, call 920-854-9242 or visit sisterbayhistory.org and click on “Open Aire Market” under the Events tab or facebook.com/sisterbayhistory.

It’s the 10th summer for this famers market sponsored by Gathering Ground, an Island-based nonprofit organization that focuses on sustainable agriculture education and connecting the community to farmers with programs at its 30-acre farm. The market is located in the green space next to KK Fiske Restaurant.

Many of the dozen or so vendors for this market hail from the Island or have some connection to it. Along with farm produce, shoppers can find jewelry, body care products and more. Produce farms in the market are part of the WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Farmers Market Nutrition Program that provides funds for WIC members to buy fruits, vegetables and herbs at farmers markets from participating farms.
