A Mount Washington man was arrested for attempting to coax children into his car for sex, records say.
Steven Parker, 61, is charged with child enticement and menacing by stalking, according to a June 23 Cincinnati police release.
Several children reported him making inappropriate statements while driving around Mount Washington in May, police stated.
Court records show Parker admitted to following a 14-year-old girl across parking lots and attempting to coax a 12-year-old girl into his vehicle. In both instances, court records state his intention was for sex.
Cincinnati police said it is continuing to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to call 513-352-3542.
Parker is scheduled to first appear in court on June 24 at 9 a.m., according to the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts website.
