SPRINGFIELD, IL – The Grammy and Golden-Globe-nominated rapper, Wiz Khalifa, will be performing at the Illinois State Fair and the Du Quoin State Fair this summer.
Khalifa will take the Illinois State Fair Grandstand in Springfield on Wednesday, Aug. 19 before heading south to perform at the Du Quoin State Fair Grandstand on Saturday, Aug. 29.
“Bringing an artist like Wiz Khalifa to both Springfield and Du Quoin shows the strength and reach of our state fairs,” stated Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Jerry Costello II. “These fairs continue to attract nationally recognized entertainers and provide fairgoers across Illinois the chance to experience major live performances close to home.
Tickets in Springfield range from $55 to $120.
Tickets at the Du Quoin State Fair range from $45 to $55.
Tickets for Wiz Khalifa will be available via Ticketmaster for both locations. Tickets go on sale on Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. on June 27.
A $30 Pre-Show Party ticket is being sold for all paid concerts.
The Illinois State Fair runs Aug. 13–23 in Springfield. The Du Quoin State Fair runs Aug. 28-Sept. 7 in Du Quoin.
