The Mercury (5-12) broke a four-game losing streak over the weekend by beating the Seattle Storm. Kahleah Copper (19.1 points) and Alyssa Thomas (13.8 points, 8.4 assists, 6.8 rebounds) lead Phoenix. Jovana Nogic (10.4 points, 42.1% 3s, not with team), Monique Akoa Makani (10.3 points, 45.8% 3s, hamstring) and Sami Whitcomb (has not played this season, knee) missed the Seattle game.
