The Los Angeles Rams are the talk of the NFL after adding Myles Garrett to their star-studded roster. With Garrett’s addition, many have been clamoring for NFL legend Aaron Donald to exit his retirement and suit up once again.
Donald, who has three Defensive Player of the Year awards, would be joined by a two-time winner in Garrett. While that is a dream for fans, Rams safety Kam Curl has confirmed Donald has yet to be around the team recently.
Speaking with Kay Adams, Curl was asked if he’s seen Donald around the facilities during offseason training activities. Curl said that while Donald has been a presence in the past, he hasn’t been around the facility lately.
“I haven’t seen Aaron Donald,” stated Curl. “He retired the day I signed with the Rams so I didn’t really get a chance to – but he be coming back sometimes. He be in there sometimes, but he be chilling.”
Though Curl hasn’t seen Donald in Woodland Hills at the Rams’ headquarters, he does hope AD returns.
“I want him to (return), too. I want to play with him,” Curl said.
While Donald may still be contemplating a tough decision, he does have the benefit of time. The Rams are currently on a break before they begin training camp next month.
