Latest MLB Draft projections for Liam Peterson, Florida baseball players, signees

Since 2021, Florida baseball has produced 29 MLB Draft selections.

The Gators will look to not only maintain the professional success, but also learn the status of its 2027 roster. The two-day MLB Draft begins Saturday, July 11.

Five current Florida players are participating in in the MLB Draft combine which are Liam Peterson, Russell Sandefer, Kyle Jones, Luke McNeillie and Ethan Surowiec.

In addition, UF high school signees Kevin Roberts Jr., Brady Harris, Brady Snow and Colin White will compete in the combine, which will take place from June 23-26 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.

Heading into this year’s draft, junior Liam Peterson is the Gators’ top MLB prospect.

Here are the latest 2026 MLB Draft projections and prospect rankings for current Florida players and incoming high school signees with the draft less than a month away.
