New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart will look to cement himself as one of the top young quarterbacks in the NFL during his second season in East Rutherford.
Dart was excellent throughout his rookie campaign in 2025. The talented quarterback excelled in both the running and passing games, and he appears poised to take his performance to an even higher level in 2026.
The rising star has received significant praise from numerous current and former NFL players following his stellar rookie season. Former Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was recently asked for his thoughts on Dart and could not contain his excitement.
“I love everything there is to love about him,” he said on the Home Grown with David & Derek Carr podcast. “I love him as a football player. Love him!”
Carr was widely regarded as one of the top quarterbacks in football for much of his time with the Raiders. The veteran ultimately retired at the end of the 2024 season, but his excitement for Dart is an encouraging sign, given Carr’s outstanding football IQ and deep knowledge of the position.
Dart is expected to shine during his second season in New York, and Carr appears to have full confidence in the young quarterback moving forward.
