Nueces County schools have canceled or delayed summer school activities for June 16 in light of heavy rain that has led to flooding.
A flash flood warning is in effect until 10:15 a.m. for Nueces County, San Patricio County, southwestern Aransas County and northern Kleberg County, according to the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi.
The weather service reported flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Texas A&M University Corpus Christi
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will shift to remote academic and work operations on June 16, according to an email from the university.
All summer camps being held on June 16 will start at 10 a.m. unless otherwise specified by the camp director. Faculty and staff associated with summer camps are asked to report to campus so that camps may begin at 10 a.m.
Agua Dulce Independent School District
Summer school was delayed to 9 a.m., according to a district Facebook post.
Summer Workouts were not canceled, but absences would be acceptable, another Facebook post from the district said.
Corpus Christi Independent School District
All Corpus Christi ISD summer school sessions and district offices will be closed for June 16, the district said in a Facebook post.
This applies for the students who were eligible to take the EOC.
The district had initially reported a two-hour delay for June 16.
Flour Bluff Independent School District
All summer school programs, activities, athletic events, Boys & Girls Club and the Summer Meals Program are canceled on June 16, the district said in a Facebook post.
District staff will continue to monitor weather conditions and provide updates regarding programs and activities for June 17.
London Independent School District
Summer school and EOC makeup testing have been delayed until 10 a.m., according to a district Facebook post.
Robstown Independent School District
Robstown ISD has canceled all summer school classes, athletic camps and Summer Power Workouts for June 16, according to a district news release.
West Oso Independent School District
A two-hour delay was implemented for all summer school activities on June 16, according to a district Facebook post.
Summer school staff were expected to report to campus at 10 a.m., and all other staff at 9 a.m.
