Does Green Bay Packers All-Pro Micah Parsons believe Caleb Williams will end up being the No. 1 player on the “NFL Top 100 Players of 2026” list?
In a preview of the upcoming list, which is formed using the opinion of actual NFL players, the NFL’s official Twitter account provided a video of various players attempting to guess who would come in at No. 1 on this year’s list.
Some players picked Josh Allen or Myles Garrett or Patrick Mahomes or Jaxon Smith-Njigba, while others went the obvious route and picked teammates.
Not Parsons. He had a surprise.
“Yeah, Iceman,” Parsons said in the clip.
Of course, “Iceman” became Williams’ nickname during the 2025 season.
The question becomes: Is Parsons trolling? Does he think Williams is actually the NFL’s best player, or is he simply predicting Williams will get the top spot? Or did the NFL manipulate the clip to make it appear like Parsons picked Williams as his No. 1 player? Or is Parsons giving a different player the “Iceman” nickname? A lot to unpack here from a two-word answer in a 30-second clip.
The teasers suggest the NFL Top 100 Players of 2026 list is coming soon. We know Parsons, after another All-Pro season, will rank highly on the annual list. Williams, after earning the Madden NFL 27 cover following a breakout second season in Chicago, will almost certainly make the list. But how high will the Bears quarterback end up?
Last season, the Packers were 1-0 against Williams and the Bears with Parsons and 0-2 — with two collapses in Chicago — without him.
