At this point, the Cincinnati Bengals have morphed into media darlings.
Joe Burrow helps that. So does an all-in offseason around him, highlighted by the Dexter Lawrence trade before anything else. Tack on an easy-looking schedule and the Bengals are, if nothing else, big offseason winners.
It’s bleeding into all areas of media.
Bleacher Report’s Gary Davenport listed his bold 2026 NFL predictions and at the very top of the list?
Joe Burrow winning an MVP and the Bengals winning a championship.
“Now, this is all contingent on Burrow staying healthy—something he has struggled to do in two of the past three seasons,” Davenport wrote. “But with Burrow under center, the Bengals are as lethal offensively as any team in the NFL. If Cincinnati fields even an average defense in 2026, they are the best team in the AFC North on paper.”
Plus, as Davenport went on to note, while it might be easy to forget right now, the Bengals have already rallied to a Super Bowl and two AFC title games with Burrow.
Right now? Burrow’s surrounded by what is easily his most talented roster to date and perhaps the most talented on paper roster in franchise history.
Given how well-regarded the Bengals are right now, a Super Bowl run wouldn’t be a bold or surprising outcome.
Not that Bengals fans would complain, of course.
