The Ohio Department of Transportation is announcing ramp closures that will take place on Interstate 76/Interstate 77 for drainage repairs and bridge painting in Akron.
Starting Sunday night, June 7, and continuing through Wednesday morning, June 10, the following ramps will be closed nightly between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.:
Starting Sunday night, June 7, and continuing through Tuesday morning June 9, the ramp from Waterloo Road to I-77 north will be closed nightly between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. The detour will be Allendale Road to Wilbeth Road to I-77 north.
Beginning Tuesday night, June 9, and continuing through Thursday morning, June 11, the ramp from I-76 west to I-77 south will be closed nightly between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. The detour will be I-76 west to I-76/Kenmore leg to Interstate 277 east to I-77.
On Wednesday evening, June 10, at 9 p.m., the ramp form I-76 east to Route 8 north will be closed through Thursday morning, June 11, at 5 a.m. The detour will be I-77 south to Wilbeth Avenue to I-77 north to Route 8 north.
