After going 7-2 against teams over .500 near the end of May that included series sweeps of the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals, that 6-0 mark against the National League Central rivals allowed the Milwaukee Brewers to separate a bit from the rest of the division.
The seven victories against the Cubs, Cardinals and Los Angeles Dodgers gave the Brewers a remarkable 21-8 mark against teams with winning records.
However, now in a stretch of 13 games against teams playing under .500, the Brewers are 4-3 in their last seven games as they begin a western trip Friday, June 5 against the Colorado Rockies. The Rockies have the worst record in the NL at 24-39.

Jacob Misiorowski will get his first start in June in the second game of the series after a truly magnificent May. The Brewers ace went 5-0 with a 0.23 ERA and 57 strikeouts in 28⅓ innings.
And though the Brewers are coming off a series split with the San Francisco Giants, the offense averaged 8.25 runs over the four games. That’s encouraging news heading into hitter-friendly Coors Field.
