Jaxson Dart's dual-threat ability boosts his fantasy outlook in Year 2

Will New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart be one of the best players at his position in fantasy football next season?

Dart has a revamped group of teammates around him in the Giants’ offense for next season. Malik Nabers is set to return from his torn ACL and give the Giants a potential 1,000-yard receiver once again. New York signed Darnell Mooney, Odell Beckham Jr., and JuJu Smith-Schuster, three former 1,000-yard receivers, to give Dart more exceptional talents to target in 2026.

All signs point toward Dart having a big year in 2026.

NBC Sports’ Matthew Berry, in his way-too-early positional rankings for the 2026 fantasy football season, has Dart ranked No. 9 overall among quarterbacks for 1QB re-draft leagues using full points-per-reception scoring.

Dart earned 241.58 fantasy points last season in ESPN PPR leagues. The Ole Miss product is projected by ESPN to throw for 3,689 yards with a 21-10 touchdown-to-interception ratio in 2026, as well as 553 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns on his way to 300.94 fantasy points on the year, which ranks No. 7 at the position.

The Utah native will have the opportunity to show progress in his second year, with greater savvy in the passing game and more aggression in the ground game. His dual-threat capabilities make him a strong option for fantasy team owners next season.
