Caleb Williams makes the cover of Madden 27

Former USC Trojan and now Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams made the cover of the newest Madden video game for this upcoming NFL season. Caleb Williams becomes the first Bear since 2009, as Roberto Garza made the Spanish version of Madden cover that year.

Caleb Williams really took that step forward and lived up to the hype he had coming into the NFL last season. He led the Bears to an NFC North title win and a playoff victory in just his second season. He did that all while making some of the best highlight reel plays happen in the entire NFL last season.

There is real hype and buzz surrounding Caleb Williams. Caleb Williams is the most entertaining player in the NFL, and the entire league has fully taken notice. Things are heading towards Caleb Williams being the face of the league very soon. Being on the Madden cover for this season is a direct reflection of that notion.

With every star that has been on the Madden cover, there is a curse that is speculated to follow them. Whether it is an injury or a down season, many give credit to the cover being the reason for a player’s downfall. Fortunately for Caleb Williams, he has already been there and done that with speculated curses. It seems like the Bears being a franchise where quarterbacks go to die has boded for him very well.
