A sewing and arts center, hardware store, two wellness businesses, a pediatric clinic and a new “dirty soda bar” have recently opened in the communities north of Milwaukee.

Tock Custom Sewing & Arts Center in Thiensville
Tock Custom Sewing & Arts Center opened in Thiensville on May 9 at 215 N. Main St.
According to its website, the plan for the business includes having a showroom, a retail store for sewers and fiber artists, a customer lounge, classroom space, events and art shows.

Hahn Ace Hardware – Sussex
Hahn Ace Hardware – Sussex opened in Sussex months after Sussex Ace Hardware closed at N64 W24330 Main St., Sussex. It opened on April 29 and had its grand opening sales and festivities May 8 through May 10.
General Manager Adam Hahn told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that the new layout showcases well-known and exclusive brands such as Weber, Traeger, Big Green Egg, and Recteq for grilling. He added that for power tools and equipment, brands include Stihl, Milwaukee, EGO, DeWalt, Craftsman, and Toro. Paint products include Benjamin Moore. Hahn also said there is a large emphasis on lawn and garden, along with home preservation and repair.
Hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday; 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

LSS Spa and Wellness and Juniper Esthetics opened inside Peace Yoga Studio & Wellness Center in Menomonee Falls
Two wellness and women-owned businesses, LSS Spa and Wellness and Juniper Esthetics, opened inside of Peace Yoga Studio & Wellness Center, N89 W16800 Appleton Ave. Both had their ribbon cutting May 7.

Zarminali Pediatrics in Menomonee Falls
Zarminali Pediatrics, which has locations in 10 states, opened a Menomonee Falls location this spring. It had its grand opening ceremony on May 30.
According to its website, it offers primary care services from routine wellness visits to specialized services. At Menomonee Falls, people can walk in or use telehealth.
It’s located at W180 N9460 Premier Lane in downtown Menomonee Falls.

Bonus: Dirty Soda Bar added at The Lunch Box in Menomonee Falls
The Lunch Box, an eatery in downtown Menomonee Falls, added a Dirty Soda Bar this spring.
At this bar, people can get a soda and add creamers, sweeteners and various coffee-flavored options, including coconut, lime, mango, raspberry, and mango-raspberry.
It is located at N88 W16683 Main St., downtown Menomonee Falls. Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
