Projecting all 22 starters for the Florida Gators this fall

Florida football revamped its roster this offseason following the arrival of new head coach Jon Sumrall. With over 50 new additions to the team, and key departures the Gators depth chart will be filled with new names and faces.

National projections have Aaron Philo winning the quarterback battle, with the former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket reunited with new offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner in Gainesville. Tramell Jones Jr. remains in the mix, showing flashes in the Orange and Blue game, but Philo’s familiarity with the scheme ultimately gives him the edge.

Doak Walker Award candidate running back Jadan Baugh will no doubt be the focal point of the Gators’ attack and a bell cow in Faulkner’s system. After spring camp, the three receiver unit will likely include Eric Singleton Jr., Vernell Brown III and Dallas Wilson.

The roster’s most intriguing competition will be on Phil Trautwein’s offensive line. Sports Illustrated projected a starting lineup of Eagan Boyer, Knijeah Harris, Harrison Moore, TJ Shanahan Jr. and Emeka Ugorji.

On the defensive side of the ball, Brad White takes over a group expected to feature the team’s leader in total tackles last season, linebacker Myles Graham, defensive lineman Kamran James, who led the team with 3.5 sacks in 2025 alongside Jamari Lyons, defensive backs Cormani McClain, Bryce Thornton, Dijon Johnson and Cam Dooley.
