After Iowa women’s basketball announced it has agreed to a home-and-home series against UConn, Hawkeye fans took to social media to express their excitement for the upcoming series against the Huskies.
According to the Hawkeyes’ news release, Iowa will play UConn on Sunday, Nov. 8, at either Gampel Pavillion in Storrs or Peoples Bank Arena in Hartford. Gampel Pavillion’s capacity is around 10,000, while Peoples Bank Arena houses more than 16,000.
After its nonconference date to begin the 2026-27 season, Iowa will then host UConn from Carver-Hawkeye Arena during the 2027-28 season, with a date still to be determined.
