Though the Chicago Bears had a lot of success last season, they still put their fans through a ride in almost every game. The team earned the nickname the Cardiac Bears. That nickname was the perfect explanation for each Chicago game. For non-fans, the Bears were one of the most entertaining teams to watch last season. Roger Goodell was well aware of that, as the Bears were one of the teams with the most primetime games on their schedule for this 2026 season.
The Bears will be featured in 6 primetime games this year and will be a headliner for both Christmas and Thanksgiving. Each game featuring the NFC North is enough intrigue alone, but what the Bears vs Packers rivalry was every game last season needs to be shown under the brightest of lights. As well as matchups that feature Ben Johnson vs his former team, the Detroit Lions.
Caleb Williams is a quarterback who is an ascending star, and last season, he showed that the Bears should never have been counted out of any game. This season, he should be headed for a big 3-year jump, and matchups like the one vs Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills should display that.
The Bears have all the makings to be the most entertaining team in the league for another season. Ben Johnson with his creative play-calling and Caleb Williams with his escapability and star talent. The Bears will be a team once again that takes up a lot of attention from NFL fans all over the world, not just in Chicago. This time around, they will just be easier to watch.
