The Golden State Warriors have made their offseason intentions clear, hoping to build another championship-caliber roster around former two-time MVP Stephen Curry. Thursday, Warriors insider Anthony Slater revealed what type of players Golden State may be after. Slater said that the Warriors may aim to add “a couple more mid-prime” guys to the roster. He also added: “You don’t want to be loaded with 19-year-olds and 37-year-olds.”
A few impact players who fit that description could be Quentin Grimes (76ers), Luke Kennard (Lakers), Norman Powell (Heat), Rui Hachimura (Lakers), John Collins and Robert Williams III (Trail Blazers). However, the amount Golden State has to spend may be dependent on whether or not Draymond Green opts in to his player option.
