White House postpones Trump's AI signing ceremony, says Axios

May 21 (Reuters) – The White House has postponed its planned Thursday ceremony for President Donald Trump to sign a new executive order on AI and cybersecurity, Axios said.

Axios, citing an internal note, said the order would be signed at a later date. It did not give more details.

The order would create a voluntary framework for AI developers to engage with the U.S. government about the public release of covered models, two sources told Reuters on Wednesday.
