Where do New York Giants rank in strength of schedule in 2026?

The New York Giants had the toughest schedule in the NFL during the 2025 season, based on last season’s strength-of-schedule rankings.

The Giants faced an absolute gauntlet, playing against the league’s top teams on a weekly basis. While New York will once again have an extremely tough schedule in 2026, the team’s young core on both sides of the ball is expected to shine.

The Giants will enter the 2026 campaign with the 24th-easiest schedule in the league. That represents an eight-spot improvement from last season, when New York was ranked No. 32 with the hardest schedule in the NFL.

New York will open the season with a roster featuring a host of new faces. The Giants secured one of the league’s top rookie classes in last month’s draft and added several key veterans on both sides of the ball.

Despite the still-challenging schedule, the Giants will look to get back on track in 2026. With a handful of tough opponents on the slate, New York could still make noise league-wide—led by quarterback Jaxon Dart, who is poised to emerge as the NFL’s next superstar in his sophomore campaign.
