Section V girls lacrosse state standings lock in as playoffs near

With postseason play only a week away, Section V girls lacrosse teams are digging in their heels. In this week’s New York state rankings, the same 10 teams are listed as a week ago, and there was little movement among them.

Biggest rise: None of the area teams moved up in this week’s rankings.

Biggest fall: The only drop this week was for Honeoye Falls-Lima, which fell one spot in Class C from fifth to sixth.
