Indiana Fever vs. Wings stats: Caitlin Clark points, box score

Caitlin Clark makes her long-awaited WNBA regular-season return today as the Indiana Fever open their 2026 campaign with a high-profile clash against Paige Bueckers, Azzi Fudd, and the Dallas Wings from Indianapolis’ Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

With the former Hawkeye back to full health prior to her third professional season, Indiana will look to showcase its offensive firepower this year en route ot possibly securing its first WNBA championship since 2012.

On the other side of the court, the Dallas Wings enter the 2026 season with sky-high potential after assembling a youthful core duo through back-to-back No. 1 overall picks in Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd.

Interestingly, this game features the WNBA’s No. 1 overall draft picks from each of the past four seasons, with Aliyah Boston (2023) and Caitlin Clark (2024) on the Fever, and the previously mentioned Bueckers (2025) and Fudd (2026) on the Wings.

At halftime, Indiana trails Dallas by nine points as both teams are shooting at a relatively high rate through the opening two quarters.

Dallas enters the break on a 13-3 scoring run, which is a concern for Indiana defensively.

Overall, Indiana has shot 18-for-32 from the floor, including 4-for-8 from 3-point range and 11-for-12 at the free-throw line. Offensively, Mitchell leads the way with 15 points on 6-for-7 shooting, followed by Aliyah Boston’s 12 on 4-for-6 from the floor.

Continuing from an entertaining first quarter, the Fever have shot a bit more accurately to start the second frame.

However, Dallas has made a few shots recently, forcing Stephanie White to call a timeout.

At the end of the first quarter, Indiana trails Dallas by two points after a highly entertaining 10 minutes of play.

Leading the Fever offensively is Kelsey Mitchell, with 10 points on 5-for-6 shooting. Clark has six points on 1-for-4 shooting and 4-for-4 from the free-throw line, to go along with one assist and one rebound.
