The announcement came in a letter addressed to Oak Creek Mayor Dan Bukiewicz and the Bureau of Workforce Training in Milwaukee from B. Joseph Klamecki, vice president of operations for Henkel US Operations.

“All employees at the facility will be affected and this closure is expected to be permanent,” Klamecki said.

All 57 affected employees have been notified, according to the letter.

There are three separate separation dates listed in the letter. On June 30, 2026, 32 employees will separate from the company. Another 21 will be separated on Sept. 28, 2026.

The final four, listed as a maintenance manager, two maintenance techs and the plant manager, will separate on Feb. 26, 2027, according to the letter.
