Daylong bridge closures in Green Bay start April 13

Reminder to drivers: Seasonal cleanings and maintenance work will temporarily close two of Green Bay’s most traveled bridges over the Fox River this week.

Workers will take much of three workdays to clean, inspect and repair the Mason Street bridge, formally the Donald A. Tilleman Memorial Bridge that carries over 35,000 vehicles daily, and the Walnut Street bridge, officially the Bart Starr Memorial Bridge, both of which are owned by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

Here is what WisDOT has announced:

When is the Walnut Street bridge closing?

When is the Mason Street bridge closing?

Will the Main Street bridge close?

Seasonal cleanings, typically in April or May, affect all three downtown bridges in downtown Green Bay. The city, which owns the Main Street bridge, has not yet announced a cleaning for the bridge.
