We at Blue Water Healthy Living are saddened to share the passing of one of our contributors, Larry Miller.
Larry was more than a writer—he was a lifelong member of the Port Huron community whose voice reflected the people, history, and spirit of this region. Through his work, he brought stories to life with authenticity and care, leaving behind a body of writing that will continue to resonate with readers.
Born and raised in Port Huron, Larry was a graduate of Central Michigan University and spent years teaching English and American Literature at Port Huron Northern High School. He was also the author of two novels, When Life Was Good, Sometimes and Haunted Youth, both rooted in the place he called home.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Larry was a devoted husband to his wife Carol, a proud father of three children, a grandfather to seven grandchildren, and a great-grandfather to many.
We are grateful for the time, talent, and perspective Larry shared with Blue Water Healthy Living. His contributions helped shape our platform, and his voice will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time.
