Road construction for the City’s Bulls Head Street Improvement is underway.

Drivers can expect closures near Kensington Street, between Silver Street and Brown Street, and near Silver street, between York Street and Taylor Street. Closures started March 30.
The project will realign the roads to better serve traffic, pedestrian flow, and support future redevelopment.
Drivers should anticipate travel delays and seek alternate routes if necessary. The DOT encourages drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones.
Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver’s license.
Construction is expected to be complete by summer of 2026.
