The 2026 Houston Open is off and running with just two more weeks until the Masters.
It’s no surprise Tiger Woods isn’t part of the field, but Scottie Scheffler withdrawing days before the tournament opens up a path to the title. Chris Gotterup comes in atop the list of 25 members of the FedEx Cup top-50 and the list of 18 of the World Golf Rankings top-50 on hand in Houston. Jake Knapp, Nico Echavarria, Ben Griffin and Adam Scott are in the mix too, as is last year’s winner in Houston, Min Woo Lee.
Could this be the moment for Brooks Koepka to get back in the winner’s circle? The former LIV Golf member has three straight top-20 finishes over his first five PGA Tour appearances. Sudarshan Yellamaraju is looking to capitalize on his stellar showing at The Players Championship.
