MOSEL – A barn and its contents were destroyed in a fire Saturday afternoon, Feb. 28, in the town of Mosel.
Three vehicles parked near the barn also sustained burn damage. No one was inside at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office said multiple 911 calls came in around 1:45 p.m. reporting a barn fire on County Road Y. Deputies arrived to find the structure fully engulfed, according to a news release.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Thirteen public safety agencies responded to battle the blaze, including several local fire departments, the sheriff’s office, the Sheboygan County Highway Department and Alliant Energy.
