Report: New York Giants 'confident' Todd Monken will become OC

The New York Giants are optimistic that Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken will join new head coach John Harbaugh’s staff as offensive coordinator, reports SNY’s Connor Hughes.

Hughes notes that the Giants are “confident” an agreement will be reached, though the hiring process remains ongoing due to required Rooney Rule interviews for coordinator positions.

Monken, 59, has worked under Harbaugh in Baltimore since 2023, guiding the Ravens to top-five offenses in yards and points in his first two seasons. Despite injuries impacting the unit in 2025, Baltimore maintained one of the league’s strongest rushing attacks.

Earlier reports this month indicated Monken was expected to follow Harbaugh to East Rutherford. However, Harbaugh offered a measured response Monday, telling the New York Post, “We’ll see, can’t really say right now, there’s a lot of moving parts,” noting Monken’s Tuesday interview for the Cleveland Browns’ head coaching vacancy.

The Giants are simultaneously addressing their defensive coordinator search, with Ravens assistants Anthony Weaver and Zach Orr among names mentioned.
