Power rankings (week of Jan. 5-10)
1. Green Bay Notre Dame (11-3)
The Tritons went 2-0, including a big 57-49 win over a Bay Port team they lost to the last time the teams met in February 2025.
Notre Dame entered this week on a six-game winning streak. It is in first place in the Fox River Classic Conference standings at 7-0, ahead of De Pere (5-1).
Last week’s ranking: 1.
2. Kewaunee (9-2)
Had dominating victories over Southern Door and Sturgeon Bay, setting up a big showdown against Algoma to start this week.
Both teams entered undefeated in league play, with Algoma at 6-0 and Kewaunee 5-0.
Last week’s ranking: 2.
3. De Pere (11-2)
The Redbirds kept rolling to extend their winning streak to eight games, beating Manitowoc and Ashwaubenon by an average of 37 points.

Last week’s ranking: 3.
4. Bay Port (9-4)
The Pirates rebounded from their loss to De Pere with a 69-60 win over Sheboygan South.
But that defeat to the Redbirds might have cost Bay Port any real chance at winning the FRCC. It is now two games behind Notre Dame in the loss column for the top spot and a game in the loss column behind De Pere for second.
Last week’s ranking: 4.
5. Denmark (10-1)
Remained atop the North Eastern Conference standings with a 48-35 win over Marinette.
An important game Jan. 15 at Wrightstown looms. The Vikings are 4-1 in league play, just ahead of both Wrightstown (4-2) and Luxemburg-Casco (5-2).

6. Crivitz (9-1)
The Wolverines had a statement win with their 49-35 victory over Lena in a showdown between the top teams in the Marinette & Oconto Conference.

Last week’s ranking: 7.
7. Lena (11-1)
The Wildcats’ loss to Crivitz ended their 26-game regular-season winning streak.

Last week’s ranking: 5.
8. West De Pere (5-6)
The Phantoms had lost four of five entering last week but went 2-0, including a 54-43 win over Green Bay Preble.

Last week’s ranking: NR.
9. Seymour (7-6)
The Thunder has lost three of four entering the week, and an extremely difficult game comes Jan. 16 at Winneconne.
Seymour’s hopes of winning the Bay Conference are long over – it is in fourth place and three games behind Winneconne – but the contest against the Wolves will be a good test to see how much it has improved since being crushed by 34 points last month in the first meeting.
Last week’s ranking: 8.
10. Algoma (7-5)
The Wolves have enjoyed a string of success since starting the season 2-4. But they must prove they can beat winning teams, having lost three of four games against opponents above .500.
Last week’s ranking: NR.
