IOWA CITY — No. 14 Iowa women’s basketball looks to begin 2026 on the right foot as it hosts No. 25 Nebraska on New Year’s Day inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Big Ten Network will televise today’s 1 p.m. CT affair.
The Hawkeyes (11-2, 2-0 Big Ten Conference) kicked off league-play resumption with a 99-76 win over Penn State on Dec. 28, a game that saw Jan Jensen’s squad have six double-digit scorers.
Meanwhile, Nebraska (12-1, 1-1) saw its 12-game winning streak end last time out in a 74-66 home loss to USC on Dec. 29. The Cornhuskers squeaked out an overtime win in Iowa City last season.
