Bears vs. Packers: Who's in, who's out for Week 16?

The Chicago Bears will battle the Green Bay Packers on Saturday night, where Chicago is looking to get revenge after a close loss to Green Bay just two weeks ago.

The Bears and Packers will announce their inactives 90 minutes before kickoff on Saturday, or roughly 5:50 p.m. CT. This post will update as more information on player availability is known and official game-day inactives for Week 16 are announced.

Who are the Bears’ inactives?

Who are the Packers’ inactives?

Will Tremaine Edmunds play vs. Packers?

The Bears could welcome back a key part of their defense in linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, who spent the last four weeks on injured reserve with a groin injury. Chicago is expected to activate Edmunds off IR before Saturday night’s game, per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, so the Bears could have a dominant linebacker trio in Edmunds, T.J. Edwards and D’Marco Jackson against the Packers.

Will D’Andre Swift play in Week 16?

Chicago will likely lean on their 1-2 punch at running back with D’Andre Swift and rookie Kyle Monangai, and it sounds like Swift will be good to go. Swift was listed on the injury report with a groin injury and is officially questionable for Week 16. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler said the expectation is Swift will play on Saturday night, which is great news for the NFL’s second-best rushing attack.

Will Cole Kmet play vs. Packers?

With the Bears down two of their top receivers, the tight ends could see plenty of action in the passing game. While rookie Colston Loveland is expected to be a top target, veteran Cole Kmet has also proven a solid option as a receiver. Kmet suffered an ankle/knee injury last week, and he’s officially questionable for Saturday night. It sounds like Kmet should be good to go, which would be huge for this offense as Kmet’s been a solid blocker, as well.

Bears rule out Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III in Week 16

Chicago will be without top wide receivers Rome Odunze and rookie Luther Burden III against Green Bay. Odunze reaggravated his foot injury during warmups last week against the Cleveland Browns. Meanwhile, Burden suffered an ankle injury in the second half against Cleveland. Look for a big day from DJ Moore and Olamide Zaccheaus, as well as tight ends Colston Loveland and Cole Kmet.
