Puka Nacua accomplished something only Ja'Marr Chase has since 2023

Puka Nacua reminded everyone why he’s one of the best receivers in the NFL in Week 14.

The third-year wideout finished the Los Angeles Rams’ 45-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals with seven receptions for 167 yards and two touchdowns. It was Nacua’s sixth career game with at least 150 receiving yards, which is tied for the most such games since 2023 with Ja’Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals. Nacua’s most recent match was the second this season with at least 150 receiving yards.

After this most recent performance, Nacua is now tied with the league lead with 93 receptions this season. Cardinals’ tight end Trey McBride also has 93 receptions. Unfortunately, he’s a long shot for the triple crown (first in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns).

Nacua is second in receiving yards with 1,186, but he’s almost 300 receiving yards behind Jaxon Smith-Ngiba of the Seattle Seahawks. He’s also tied for 11th in touchdowns with six — eight behind his teammate, Davante Adams, who has 14.

But what this says more than anything is that Nacua is a game-breaker. He keeps making incredible catches and broke a record for most receptions in a player’s first 40 games.

The Rams’ offense looks unbeatable when Nacua is lighting up the scoreboard, and Week 14 proved it.
