As the Chargers on their bye week, quarterback Justin Herbert’s weekend plans may have been revealed.
Pop star Madison Beer’s recent social media activity has sparked speculation that her boyfriend, Herbert, could be the guest picker for ESPN’s College GameDay for the Oregon vs. USC game in Eugene, Oregon.
While the evidence is clear, ESPN has not yet confirmed the official guest picker. Other former Oregon quarterbacks like Commanders’ Marcus Mariota and Broncos’ Bo Nix are potential candidates, as their NFL teams also have a bye week.
Before being drafted by the Chargers in 2020, Herbert played college football for the Ducks from 2016 to 2019. He was born and raised in Eugene, so whether or not he is the guest picker, the power couple is clearly using the Chargers’ off week to get away and spend some time in his hometown.
The guest picker announcement is usually made on Friday, the day before the show.
