Motorist accused of shooting at another vehicle on I-71 in Warren County near Lebanon

A man was taken into custody after shooting at another vehicle while driving along Interstate 71 in Warren County Monday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Faizon Quartez White, 22, of Columbus, was arrested for felonious assault and shooting a firearm on a highway after troopers said they received a call just before 11 a.m. from a person stating their vehicle had been shot on the highway.

OSHP said the person gave a description and troopers pulled over the suspect vehicle near Kings Mills Road.An investigation found that the driver, White, shot at and hit the person’s vehicle while both were driving south on I-71.

White was arrested and taken to Warren County Jail, where he is being held on a $150,000 cash-only bond.

The Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the shooting.
